导语：Donation to build up charitable school—Light up a hope for children can』t afford the education
Regarding the buildup of charitable school (Tibetan school)—the nomads live around the monastery in Tibet and pasture herds of cattle and sheep in spring and summer time starting from the temple and further away as time goes by; [@more@]sometimes the distance is so far away from temple that it takes 10 day’s horse ride to pasture. When the short autumn falls on Tibet, the nomads will again drive herds of cattle and sheep back to the temple; because temple is the real home deep inside their hearts. During the serene, snow-clad winter time as long as 6 months; it’s the small and never extinguish oil lamp in the monastery that bring light & warmth to the nomads.
During the spring and summer seasons, kids have to follow their families for pastureland that’s further away from the temple. Starting from 3 -4 hours’ to the exhausting 6-7 hours’ mountain path walk everyday to the temple for the class, until the distance is so far away and not within the children’s reach by walk. Due to Guoqing Monastery has no dedicated classroom and dormitory for the kids, so they have no option but to give up; but we can see the aspiration for education revealed by their eyes of innocent. Even back to the place around the monastery for the winter; kids live on the hillside against the monastery and the harsh temperature of minus 30 degree Celsius with snow up to the knee, they still need to spend 3-4 hours’ walk to the class with some kids as young as 6-7 years old.
The children really love to go to school as they can hear from teachers miracle ; see magic pictures such as flying metal bird called “airplane”, iron horse running faster than the real one called automobile, truck, or jeep…etc. Kids know that they can learn something magic for sure by attending the class and thus love to go to school. Though the harsh environment of Tibetan winter, children still love this season as they can go back to the monastery for the class. Nevertheless, they can’t take the class everyday as there’re routine 2-3 religious gatherings per week and sometimes the blizzard make it impossible to step out.
“If we had classroom like the Chinese kids…, if we could live in the dormitory of the school…” Do these thoughts ever come to the Tibetan kids’ mind？ No, never have these kids bear that luxurious aspiration in their minds.
Can we do something for these innocent Tibetan children? Can you imagine the smile on their faces and happiness from the bottom of their heart when someday the kids have dedicated classroom for basic education and dormitory to sleep in？ Just think about it and act now!!!
