This web page is intended mainly to provide English translations of the many teachings and books by our beloved teacher, Khenpo So Dargye Rinpoche. Although the capability of our translation team is rather limited, we are nonetheless happy to see that the content of this page has grown steadily since its launch date on May 4th, 2011.
We invite you to browse the “Dharma Books” section, where you will find, among others, 'Drops of Advice from My Heart, Summary Verses of Prajna, Footprints on the Journey, 'The Virtues of Heart Mantra of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, and the lecture series of Khenpo So Dargye at various universities: Haven of Peace: Finding our True Home in the Mind and Heart, Mysteries of the World According to Buddhism and The Facts We Have to Face, etc. We are also happy to carry timeless Dharma treasures, courtesy of other sources, such as The Jewel Ornament of Liberation, The Sword of Wisdom for Thoroughly Ascertaining Reality, etc.
Our newest feature is video courses with English subtitles; among the “New Courses” is Khenpo So Dargye’s exposition on “An Oral Teaching on Thogme Zangpo’s Commentary on Bodhicaryavatara”. This long series with over 200 plus teachings will be posted gradually. Other videos include Khenpo So Dargye’s public talks on charity, Reflections on Charity and so forth.
We hope with our continual effort in working on this page, you will come to enjoy and benefit from the Dharma nectar. We would, of course, be most grateful for your advice, if any; and we welcome you to join our translation team if you’re so inspired.
